Established Wagga performer Jamie Way is now confirmed as MC for Woodland gala night, no doubt bringing his bubbly humour and sharp wit to the night’s proceedings. He has worked in numerous stage musicals, cabaret acts, short and feature films to name a few of his previous achievements, his most recent the sold out stage show ‘The Great Pizzarotti’.

The judging panel this year will also include some local film personalities, including Daily Advertiser film critic Fred Goldsworthy, CSU lecturer in Visual Studies Dr. Neill Overton, and Tumbarumba’s own theatre patron and actor Jan Smith.

As reported previously, the night’s music will be provided by up-and-coming country singer Fanny Lumsden (originally from near West Wyalong) and her band, the Thrill Seekers from Sydney. Festival Co – Director Laura says “it’s about bringing together all the ideal elements to create a recipe for a memorable event”

The festival headline Gala night has a limited 150 tickets on sale now which Laura also commented “we’re delighted tickets are already selling so we’re encouraging people to book their tickets early this year to avoid missing out”.
